Flova has extended its Seedance 2.5 sale to 27 October, with up to 80% off and the lower rate locked for a year

Flova's Seedance 2.5 savings event now runs to 27 October, with 480p from $0.022 a second and the discounted rate locked for 365 days. Here is what that means for a real budget, and what to check before you commit.

If you have been rationing Seedance 2.5 generations because the bill stings, this is worth five minutes of your day. Flova's Seedance 2.5 savings event has been extended for a further seven days, and it now runs through 27 October.

The headline numbers are strong. Per creator @Diana_Osire, Seedance 2.5 is up to 80% off, 480p starts at $0.022 a second and 720p at $0.044 a second. The part that matters most is the lock-in. @AiwithNomi and @AiwithSaif7 both say the discounted rate can be held for 365 days. A sale that ends on Tuesday week is a coupon. A rate fixed for a year is something you can budget a project around.

What the numbers mean in practice

Do the sums. A 10-second clip at 480p comes to about $0.22. At 720p it is about $0.44. A full 30-second sequence at 720p is roughly $1.32. If you generate eight takes to get one keeper, that is still under $11 for a finished half-minute shot at 720p.

The same posts list other prices. Per @Romi2656, Flova Image 2.5 starts at $0.011 an image, and Wan 3.0 Prime starts at $0.022 a second. That puts Wan 3.0 Prime at the same entry price as 480p Seedance 2.5 during the event. For cheap exploration, that gives you two video models to compare on one balance.

What has not been said

The posts are promotional. Several come from accounts that read as Flova promoters, and none of them link to terms in the text we can see. Treat the figures as the offer, not as audited pricing.

The gaps matter for anyone making finished work:

- Higher resolutions. The quoted prices cover 480p and 720p. No post gives a 1080p or 4K rate, and Seedance 2.5 is being pitched elsewhere on native 4K output. If your delivery format is 1080p or above, you do not yet know your real cost.
- What "locked" covers. It is unclear whether the 365 days applies to credits bought during the event, to a subscription, or to the per-second rate on any future top-up. Read the checkout terms before you load a large balance.
- "Up to 80%". That is a ceiling. The headline discount may not apply to every resolution or duration.
- No benchmark. Nothing here compares output quality between Flova's hosted Seedance 2.5 and other routes to the same model. Price tells you nothing about it.

What the demos suggest

Two creators posted Flova work with the sale running. @Caden_Flux made a 30-second horror sequence with a creature transformation, holding the same character and outfit across shots, and shared the shot-by-shot prompts. @ShamiWeb3 used one continuity prompt to send a single car reference through wall climbs, midair flips and hovering shots. These are single creator demos, not tests. They do show the platform being used for multi-shot consistency, which is where cheap credits get burned fastest.

What to test first

Spend the first few dollars on consistency, not beauty. Take one character reference and run the same three-shot prompt at 480p on both Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 Prime. At about $0.22 a 10-second clip, you can run dozens of comparisons for the price of one expensive render elsewhere.

Then pick your winners and re-render only those at 720p. Before the deadline on 27 October, test one top-up end to end and confirm what rate you are actually shown on the receipt. If the lock-in holds as described, a year of fixed pricing is the real offer. If it does not, the sale is still a cheap sandbox for the next five days.
