Qolaba is offering $3,000 across jury and audience tracks for AI-generated short films posted publicly on social media
Create an AI video using Qolaba, post it on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or similar, and compete for cash prizes totalling $3,000 across four award tracks. Free entry, worldwide.
Qolaba's first public film challenge asks creators to make an AI-generated video using the Qolaba platform and share it openly on a social media channel of their choosing. There are no submission portals or upload queues beyond that: the public post is the entry. The competition runs across two categories, short film and advertising, and rewards both the crowd and a jury independently.
The prize pool splits into two parallel award tracks, each judged by a different measure. An audience award distributes $2,250 in cash, with $1,500 going to first place and $750 to second. A separate jury award distributes $750, giving $500 to first place and $250 to second. On top of those cash prizes, five creators receive a special award of three months of Qolaba access at no cost. That is a credits-in-kind prize, not cash, so factor it accordingly if you are weighing effort against reward.
What you submit
You must create an AI video using Qolaba and post it publicly to at least one of the following platforms: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, or Facebook. The entry must be publicly visible at the time of judging. The official entry route is through Qolaba's own contest page at www.qolaba.ai/qolaba-ai-film, which is where you register your submission. Submissions have been open since 1 September 2026.
Prize structure
- Audience Award: $1,500 first place, $750 second place
- Jury Award: $500 first place, $250 second place
- 5 Special Awards: 3 months of Qolaba free each (platform credits, not cash)
- Total cash available: $3,000
Terms worth reading
Because entries must be posted publicly on social media before judging, your work will be visible to the public and to Qolaba before any winner is announced. Review Qolaba's terms of service to understand what rights, if any, the platform claims over videos created with its tools and shared in this context. The contest page does not publish a separate set of competition terms, so checking the platform's standard terms before submitting is advisable. On the positive side, entry is free and open to individuals worldwide with no regional restrictions stated.
The deadline is 21 September 2026. No cutoff time is published for that date, so plan to have your post live and your entry registered by 20 September to avoid last-minute complications.
Full details and the entry form are on the official contest page.
