Full-Stack Product Engineer
Technology · Remote · Full-time
We build our own products: the unhindered.ai platform, the Academy, a client studio pipeline and new apps on top of video model APIs. We are hiring an engineer who can take a product from a written spec to a shipped app that real people pay for, and who can own it after launch.
We build AI-native. You will use tools like Claude Code or Cursor as your primary way of writing code. What we hire for is the judgement underneath: you can read, debug, secure and change what the tools produce, and you know when to reject it.
This is a full-time remote role, open worldwide. You will work directly with the founders.
What you will do
- Build complete products end to end: frontend, backend, database, auth, payments, deployment
- Work in our stack: React and TypeScript on Cloudflare Pages, Supabase (Postgres, RLS, edge functions, cron), Stripe, Cloudflare Stream and Images, Resend
- Integrate video and image model APIs (ByteDance, Kling, Runway, fal) into products people use
- Own what you ship: monitoring, fixes, performance and security, not just the first version
- Turn a spec or a conversation into something running, without hand-holding
Levels
We hire at two levels. Tell us which one you are applying for.
- Product Engineer, $75,000 to $140,000. You have shipped at least one complete app with auth, a database and payments that real users used. You work fast with AI tools and you understand the code they write. You can take a spec and deliver it.
- Senior or Founding Product Engineer, $150,000 to $250,000. You have built and run production systems where money and user data were at stake. You make the architecture, security and infrastructure decisions, you set the standard for how we build, and you can lead engineers as we grow. At this level we are also open to equity as part of the package.
You are the level where the description is true of you today, not where you hope to be in a year.
Compensation: Base salary in USD, $75,000 to $250,000 depending on level, experience and location. We tell you where you sit in the range before the first interview.
- A live product or a public repo we can look at, built mostly by you. A portfolio page is not enough.
- Strong TypeScript and React; solid SQL and Postgres, including row-level security
- Experience with Supabase or an equivalent backend platform, and with Stripe or another payments system in production
- You can explain what the AI-assisted code does and why it is safe, and you have caught it being wrong
- Comfortable with deployment, DNS, edge functions and the boring parts of running a product
- Nice to have: Cloudflare Workers and Pages, video streaming or media pipelines, model API integration, Python for tooling and pipelines
